Hey! I’m Duncan - a Motion Designer and Creative Technologist based in the UK. I specialise in 2D animation & interactive Rive projects.

I've been working in filmmaking and animation since 2008 and have been lucky to work with clients such as Buggati, Cadbury, McLaren and Starbucks to name but a few. Although I made stop motion from a young age, professionally I started out directing music videos with a lot of visual effects. When I began to work on more commercial and digital projects my sheer familiarity with After Effects lead me to motion design and animated projects. I had been a generalist for along while and have worked in 3D especially with VFX, but my focus is on 2D animations and interactive design.

I love fusing art and technology together, regularly working on side experiments before I bring these methods into my day to day projects.

Outside of work, I have three beautiful kids keeping me busy and I also co-founded charity Help Close By which uses technology to fight poverty.
